Evacuation Decision-Making and Behavior in Wildfires

With the increase in wildfires and people living in the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI), evacuations during wildland fire have been on the rise. Researcher Erica Kuligowski has been investigating what goes in to the decision process for wildfire evacuations and identifying potential research gaps in this area. Check out her new publication in the Fire Safety Journal to learn more about fire evacuation processes in the WUI.
