The Wildfire Safety Evaluator (WiSE) App is a tool designed for wildland firefighters that calculates safe separation distance from oncoming flames, based on the newmodel developed by USDA Forest Service Research Engineer Dan Jimenez from the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory.
