Using PODs to integrate fire and fuels planning

PODs: The authors of the article “Using PODs to Integrate Fire and Fuels Planning” have also published two-page research briefs about the three case studies from the paper—the San Isabel NF, San Juan NF and Washington DNR. Teams in those areas used PODs in conjunction with NEPA review, prescribed fire management and treatment prioritization.
