Reflections on The Little Sand Fire

Location: Pagosa Springs, Colordo.

The first day consisted of presentations from forest service personel and forest experts, as well as informational panels with locals and experts.  Those who attended created groups for the breakout session to discuss specific areas of fire science issues in the community.

Day two consisted of a tour of the fire area.  Along the tour, locals and experts described the fire and told stories of their experiences.  The last stop was at a section of the burn area where attendees could see the differences in intensities and regeneration.
